Your percentage of weight loss is calculated using your weight entry from the start of the challenge and your most recent weight entry. Weight entries made before the start of a challenge will not be included in your percentage of weight loss for the competition.
Percentage calculations are made using the Kilogram (kg) scale. If you entered your weight in Lbs, it will be converted into Kgs to calculate your percentage of weight loss. As a result, your percentage of weight loss may appear off by a 100th of a percent due to the conversion. However, rest assured that this will not affect your rank in the competition as everyone's percentage is based on the Kg scale.
Your ranking and your percentage of weight loss in the competition will only appear after you've made 2 weight entries on 2 different days after the competition starts. For most people this will be the second day of the challenge or after your second scheduled weigh-in.
We take your earliest available weight and your last available weight within the challenge window to calculate your percentage of weight loss.
You can edit your weight throughout the day as often as you like, however, once the clock strikes midnight, you will no longer be able to edit your weight for the day. To keep the competition fair, you cannot go back to edit your weight for previous days.
And remember, your percentage of body weight lost will always be based on your most recent weight entry and the entry from the first day of the challenge. So if you happen to miss a weight entry or enter your weight incorrectly, simply enter your weight correctly the next day.
We recommend measuring your weight in the morning at around the same time everyday, with the same wardrobe for the most consistent results.
For any issues with your weight entry, please email: support@fit4friends.com.
Yes, your weight and your weight log is only viewable by you. When you compete in a weight loss competition, only your rank in the competition and your percentage of weight loss is shared with your opponents.
If you would like to share a specific weight entry with your challenge organizer or other participants, you can do so by navigating to the Weight Log, selecting the calendar date of the weight entry you would like to share, then selecting share.
Yes! However, the start and end times of a challenge will be based on the time zone of the Challenge Organizer.
Within the app, challengers have the ability to upload images of their scale for proof of their weight. For documentation, we recommend taking a picture of the scale after stepping off. You can then share this image with the Challenge Organizer and/or your competitors.
Yes, you can remove yourself from a challenge up until the challenge start date by hitting the minus sign in the upper right-hand corner of the challenge snapshot on the Scoreboard (the homepage of the app).
